Eyre's Campsite on the Bluff

A plaque has been erected to comemorate the explorer Edward John Eyre's campsite on his first trip from Port Augusta to Port Lincoln. An excellent bushwalking and picnic area, however the site is on private property and permission to visit should be obtained.

Wharminda Soaks Conservation Park
A beautiful picnic area aboundant in wild flowers and birdlife. A great area for bushwalking.
Hincks Conservation Park
The second largest conservation park on Eyre Peninsula. A paradise for bushwalkers and 4WD / Trail bike enthusiasts. Entry point from Nantoura Road through Wharminda Soaks Conservation Park or from Reserve Rd by Mount Isabella off the Mount Hill Coomaba Road.
